From Lino pop-up this Sunday, August 17th!
Hi there :)
It’s Wednesday morning, which means all of us bakers are already at the bakery, getting prepped for the week ahead of us. This week and next happen to be very special weeks for a few reasons.
The first and most important is that our friend Melanie Lino, a Bethlehem-based pastry chef whose pastries are inspired by her Dominican background and who uses ingredients sourced from the wonderful, rich agriculture of Pennsylvania, will be selling her delicious goods from the space on Sunday, August 17th. Want to try her sourdough pan dulce topped with corn pudding? Or her vegan walnut and sage mantecado? You can preorder all of those things right here, right now. Or swing by the bakery at 9am on Sunday for walk-in orders! We’ll be making something special, too. You’ll just have to wait to see what :)

Next up, we are getting very close to Downtime’s summer vacation. So if you want bread to freeze, bagels to eat, or sandwiches for your lunch, swing by this week or next for your last chance before we close the bakery for a week so we can all get some rest. Here are the details:

That’s all for now! See ya soon.

I wrote a very long thing about how much I love to surf and why and how the ocean is my friend and then because of my inability to operate a computer, it was deleted. SO. I guess the thing that’s up with me is that I love to surf. Fill in the rest of the poetic language here.
