Mother's Day pop-up with Feels Like Sunday

Hi! Good morning.

We’re so excited! Siobhan McKenna, a wonderfully talented baker and even better friend, is joining us for Mother’s Day for a special pop-up under her cottage bakery Feels Like Sunday. She’ll be making cakes — we’ll be making pies. She’ll be making choux buns — we’ll be making eclairs. We’ll also have a few fun in-store offerings, if you miss out on the preorder, so fret not.

The preorder is indeed live now, for a limited number of cakes, pies, buns, and eclairs. These beautiful cakes — Siobhan calls them Celebration Cakes because, well, look at them — will be available by the slice in-store and as individual cakes for preorder. Click through here to see everything you can order now for mum’s day.

Okay that’s all for now! See you in the bakery!

Dayna’s What’s Up Corner

I am reading two very good books right now — one is a nonfiction book called The Extinction of Experience by Christine Rosen, about how tech is ruining our ability to be human (🥴) and the other is Fish Tales, a glam novel from the 80s that Kelsey lent me this week. I’ve been surfing on Mondays recently and that’s been amazing for the old noggin’. I’m hoping to spend more time hiking soon! And I’ve not really listened to anything I’ve been super into lately. I’d welcome some music recommendations, if you’ve got them. What’s up with you?

Check out “Scenery” by Ryo Fukui. I think it’s great baking music!
