We're so back
Hi!
Yes, you heard that right. We’re so back. After a week of being closed and having a really restful time in the most stunning place on earth (Scotland!!!!), we’re back to baking and our regular hours starting tomorrow Thursday, September 4th. We can’t wait to see you again and talk all about summer vacation. We have some really exciting menu changes coming this fall and if you didn’t know it already, fall and winter are the best times to bake. I’m talking apple pies, sweet potato pies, Thanksgiving donuts, fruitcake, malt loaf, oat bars, the list goes on…
We're also growing quite a bit and have a few events coming your way this fall, which we’re excited to share in the coming weeks. It’s going to be a nice season. I hope you had an easy time getting back into the school year. We’ll see you at 9am on Thursday, September 4th! Can’t wait.
And just a friendly reminder — soft serve runs until September 21st, the first day of fall. So three more weeks of cones then the machine goes back into hibernation until next summer.

Dayna’s What’s Up Corner
I’ve read truly only excellent books the past week, some new favorites. I have a trend, though, of picking up intense books about women in severe solitude?? Not sure they’re for everyone but if that’s your thing, check out Woman Running in the Mountains by Yūko Tsushima or Is Mother Dead by Vigdis Hjorth. We surfed on the Northernmost coast of Scotland and I can’t begin to describe how lifechanging that was. We listened to the new Mac DeMarco album a lot on Tuesday while getting the bakery ready to welcome you all again and it’s really nice, I’ve always really liked him. That’s all for now. Anyone else up to anything good?
