Come to the matcha pop-up this Saturday with Bake by Miii! đŸ”

Hello hello. Happy Thursday!

Let’s get into the details of this week at good ole Downtime Bakery.

Thursday Loaf

This week, one of our stupendous bread bakers, Mika, is debuting her cracked rye loaf, which is a toasty, lovely loaf of bread, heavier on the whole grain, and with a delicious, spongy texture that stays good for days and days. We’ll have 12 of those first thing Thursday, so come out and come early.

Saturday Matcha Pop-Up

This Saturday from 12 to 3pm, we’ll have our friend Mi coming by the bakery with her matcha cart, where she’ll be making a menu of delicious matcha beverages for your afternoon enjoyment. To complement Mi’s drinks, we’re making a black sesame milk bun spiral with a black sesame glaze and candied cherries. Both matcha and black sesame buns will be available from 12 to 3pm only on Saturday, so see you then.

The Rest of the Week

Everything is normal! All the hits that you know and love! Some nice cake on Saturday; some very nice apple galettes all week long. Come spend some time with us, we can’t wait.

xo,

Dayna

Dayna’s What’s Up Corner

I dunno, I kinda love the new Flea jazz trumpet album...you? I also have been playing the new King Tuff record, MOO, on repeat. He is my personal hero and a Brattleboro, VT legend, to boot. Also I have been stoked on the new Courtney Barnett album and the new Robyn album and this Girl Scout album. Haven’t seen much art lately, and no books are really grabbing me at the moment but you know what’s on the calendar for this Monday?? !! S u r f i n g !! We are so back, baby. What’s up over there with you?
