Mother's Day Weekend preorder is live now đ°
Hi!
Hereâs what I can promise you: If you come to the bakery some time between Friday, May 8th and Sunday, May 10th (known by us as âMotherâs Day Weekendâ), you will leave with something delicious, beautiful, or both. We will have two guest bakers in the house (Amanda Perdomo of Amandaâs Bon Voyage Cafe on Friday, May 8th and Siobhan McKenna of Feels Like Sunday on Sunday, May 10th); we will have large beautiful bouquets of flowers from the folks at Weavers Way farms; we will have ceramic flower bouquets made by my ceramic artist mom; and we will have specials of all kinds, from us and ours to you and yours.
Want to guarantee you get a some of this to gift to or share with a mother, caretaker, loved one? I highly recommend you preorder now! Walk-in orders and options will be limited and will go fast. The only thing we arenât doing preorders for are bouquets of flowers and crullers from Feels Like Sunday, so if youâre in picking up your preorder, grab a bunch of flowers and a cruller, too, why not. No one has ever been bummed by the presence of flowers or crullers.

Okay, hereâs that link to preorder again: cakes, biscuits, honey buns, strawberry cream pies, cookies, fougasse, and ceramics. All the hits, come party with us for Motherâs Day Weekend. We love moms and despite our ill-tempered teenage years, it seems they still love us too!
*The only thing to note is that if youâre preordering for FRIDAY and for SUNDAY, youâll have to check out twice, as Square doesnât let us set things up to have one cart for both checkouts. Sorry :( I wish it wasnât like that.
Preorder closes at midnight at May 6th, just FYI!
Preorder HereOkay, thatâs all for now â Thursday loaf this week is ramps and olive fougasse again because we loved it so much last week. And because Iâm not trying to unnecessarily gatekeep, the rhubarb and custard tart I opined about last week is starting this Thursday đ. Out at 10am every morning. Come and grab one.
xo,

Daynaâs Whatâs Up Corner
I have been listening to an album on repeat, which is rare â it is this Sean Solomon record The World Is Not Good Enough. I have also been loving Leo Middeaâs NotĂcia de Puglia. I also canât recommend Zach Galifianakisâs This Is A Gardening Show on Netflix highly enough. Looking for a pleasant diversion? This is it! Every episode is 15ish minutes and itâs about how gardening is cool, yet it also has jokes. I am very excited to watch Ramy Youssef on Ziwe, speaking of diversions. I did finish OTCOV4 and am wondering how itâs possible these books could get any better but I know they will. I did try the protein milk iced banana latte at Dunkinâ Donuts and I donât regret it ⌠but I wonât be doing it again.
Anything new with you? Big weeks ahead? Books youâre interested in? Art youâre excited about? Hope everyone is doing well out there. <3
