Spiced apple loaf and the kitchen yard sale is back

Hello!

Unlike last week, this is going to be a short newsletter. Let’s do it.

Free Starter!

Come get yer free starter. Thursdays only, 9am onwards. First come, first served. It comes with little instructions on how to feed it but you can also DM me or email me if you have more questions and I’ll try to respond in a timely fashion.

Thursday Loaf

Our Thursday loaf this week is a special spiced apple loaf. We use apple cider as part of the liquid in the dough, then we spiral spiced, chopped, cooked apples into the center, finally glazing it with a spiced apple cider syrup. It’s like fall in a bread.

Yum!

The Kitchen Yard Sale Is Back
Monday, October 26th from 1pm to 5pm

I had to reschedule this kitchen yard sale in August because I was really burned out. Before the holidays really get crazy, we’re rescheduling it for end of October. We have some gadgets, display cases, smallwares, and otherwise good, useful bakery and kitchen tools anyone might need. Bring cash or Venmo! See you there.

That’s all!

xo,

Dayna

I’m taking my mom to New Orleans this weekend to celebrate her 70th birthday 1.5 years later. If you have any tips or special secret cool things you love to do in New Orleans, let me know!

Re New Orleans, strong recommendations for the Pharmacy museum, especially if you can be there when someone's doing a tour, and Preservation Jazz Hall (byob!)!
